![]() I only vaguely remember back when I repainted my car ('66 coupe). At that time I did remove the fake side scoop trim for the repaint. I do believe that I removed the rear side window to get at the nuts attatching the scoop trim pieces. Since you already have the seat out and the side panels off, it's not too much more effort to go ahead and remove the rear side windows. I think that's how I did it on my '66.
