![]() Be careful about buying a 3650; they are still considered a proprietary transmission by Ford and concsequently parts for them are extremely expensive. I just had one in the shop where 2nd gear is starting to go bad, and the rebuild kit is nearly $1200! Just the 1-2 synchro rebuild kit is $550. This is why you don't see rebuild kits advertised like you do for the T-5, 3550 or TKO. Most people are going to the TKO500 or TKO600 rather than rebuilding the 3650. You also won't find a scattershield for the 3650. For the prices that you've listed, I'd be extremely cautious about a deal-gone-bad. If it is really a brand new transmission, its worth $1500 easily on the open market.
