Ok, I give up. What exactly is an LS2? I've seen stock LT1s run better times. Actually, those look like stock 302 #s.

OK an LS-2 is the motor GM came up with to replace the LS-1. The LS-1 had a 5.7 displacement, while the LS-2 is a 6.0. The LS-2's put out 400 hp from the factory. And 84LX89GT I dont know the elevation where you are at, but if the one you ran had an LS-1 there was some thing wrong. Mine ran a 14.1 in Albuquerque NM (5400 ft). I dont know the elevation where you are at?

pacific raceways is at 600 ft elevation and there was some pretty good air in the afternoon. I have no idea why those cars didn't smoke me because they should have, the one camaro did run what he should have, the other camaro and firebird didn't.
