![]() The dowel pins are present, the trans was installed on the engine outside of the car, so the bell housing alignment is good. all pts were de-greased before installation,and nothing was forced. I have further inspected pilot shaft bearing (in flywheel) and it looks fairly beat up. The pilot shaft on the trans also seems to have a lot of side play in it. ( a friend told me this is normal?) I think this is going to be a good place to start. I will change out these bearings and then go from there. Thanks
