![]() I know tuner cars are totally different but I had a similar issue with a 95 Eclipse Turbo.
My issue first happened when I was running the car boosting 18lb/Psi. It would studder when boost was peaking. I changed the coil, fuel filter, and almost changed the injectors before I decided to check the gap on the spark plugs. Low and behold my gap was too wide. The car ran fine after that until I put in a bigger turbo and was boosting 28lb/Psi. At that point, I had to change the injectors as well as purchased the Bosche 4 prong plugs. An MSD ignition, and new plug wires helped as well. I know it isn't apples for apples, and I am not in any way as experienced or well versed in mechanical engineering as some of the guys on this site, but I hope that helps, Narsh |
