Dean-
The plug you are referring to is for the back window heat control relay. The plug for the switch should only have 4 wires, 3 of which control the top. The purple wire goes to the top up relay, the gray/light blue wire goes to the top down relay, and the black/yellow (accy fuse) wire goes to both relays.
