Hey all, I just talked to one of the guys at my local performance shop about the gears for my 04 GT and he said that at 80 mph, I'd be at almost 3K with 4.10's. It seems like a lot especially how gas prices are going..
They have a special where you get your choice of gears and an ACT tuner(incl. 1 tune)for $569 + $260 labor. I was debating this over an exhaust since my intake is done and I can tell that the car needs to exhale a little better. In your opinions is that too pricey? But my real question is about the Clutch. Would a stock clutch have any issues handling 4.10's? Also, 4.10's and 4.56 for that matter seem like a great idea for drag racing, but how bout road racing? I intend to start taking my pony to the track so I want to make a good decision. Thanks ahead of time for the advice... -Narsh |
