![]() My first question would be is you current 5.0 tired. If it is not, then I would say it is not that good of a deal, because you are not going to be gaining that much that you will capitalize on with that DSS.
Why not use your stock roller lifters? And if you are buying a new cam, the guys on here will tell you over and over the Ford Alpha series cams are ok, but there are others out there that have newer technology developed into them. All this is assuming you a 302 roller block. If you are just basically adding a heads and cam combo, your current block would work just fine, unless it has a load of miles on it. Ryan
