Default Re: new motor option

i have the guy down to $2000 for the motor, it comes as a longblock, never run. needs accessories and intake, and can be bolted in. is it worth it? i really want AFR 165's, but this seems more responsible. any suggestions, i've asked all my friends with mixed review. also i'll be selling the motor currently in my car, of course sans edelbrock intake. any suggestions on asking price for that, and would i sell it easier if i left it in the car until it was sold. i'm really fighting myself with this one.
