![]() Ok, with the cable off, you have full movement with the cable or the carb then? Once you know which one is limiting your movement, we need to break that piece down a bit and see why it is not moving all the way.
You adjusted it in neutral, correct? Mine use to not shift into 1st correctly until I adjusted the cable with a pressure gauge (0 & 32 psi).

![]() Yeah, you're not going to have full travel with the car off and/or it in park. When you get it on the road, can you push the pedal to the floor? If so, you've got the full travel you need. It just won't let you open it fully when it's in park.
