![]() I noticed your post and thought you might be able to help me out. I have a 94 SRS automatic, coupe and the stock cd player has slowly been dying (all it says is BAD) and I can't do anything, even eject the cd, play radio...etc. I have a tape deck from a 96 ford windstar that I'm trying to put in, but getting no sound. I tried putting a 9V battery to the speaker leads but still no sound at all. Could there be some kind of internal preamp in the CD deck that's not in the tape deck?
