w/ your swap are you using a new swap oil pan or a truck pan . i have noticed that truck pans are a rear sump w/ a partial front sump like a norm. 5.0 pan.

I will be using a swap pan. The truck pan doesn't come up high enough between the two sumps and would hit the x-member and rack.

Also, just a note...my car was pain to setup with the non roller cam. I had it SCT'd and sorted it out, but it can be a little troublesome.

SCT is a type of computer tuning you can do. I have a couple speed shops here in town that do it.

Basically, the car is put on a dyno and hooked up to a laptop through a module that is connected to the EEC. As the car is put under load, they can adjust the air fuel mixture to suit each RPM increment.

It is a lengthy process, but well worth it if you want the car running absolutely optimal.

I like the SCT tuning because the people that do it have to actually go to a "school" to become certified to perform it. It is not some module any joe blow can order off the net and say "Hey, I can do custom tunes!".
