![]() Oh, how weak. I'm guessing they don't go best 2 out of 3 on pinks, otherwise that wouldn't make much sense. Are the first runs "practice runs" and only the last one counts? I don't watch tv much, and I'm pretty sure I'm the last person on earth that only has regular *** tv, so I really have no clue about how they do things on "pinks".

![]() It's usually best 2 of 3. We'll say Racer 1 is a sandbagger.
Race 1 Racer 1 - Runs just fast enough to win. Racer 2 - Runs all out and loses by 1 car. Race 2 - Racer 2 gets 1 car. Racer 1 - Runs a little faster, just enough to win by 1/2 car. Racer 2 - Runs all out and loses by 1/2 car. Race 3 - Racer 2 gets 3 cars (after all, if Racer 2 loses once more, his car is gone) Racer 1 - Runs all out and wins by 2 cars. Racer 2 - Runs all out and loses by 2 cars. Racer 1 was sandbagging until the final race. They were lying about how fast their car was in order to negotiate a more favorable race. That's how it works. |
