yeah it was ford's fault the plug did that because the threads weren't long enough so the spark plug was revised and updated so new plugs don't look like the old ones (and they don't blow out like that).....and yet ford let's customers take care of the cost because of their mess up

This kind of stupid 'factory' screw-up - and some dealers casual disregard for the paying customer when the company makes a mistake - is one of many reasons that Ford is sinking and not that many folks really care much, anymore. It's pretty hard to remain loyal to a car manufacturer that (a) makes far too many crappy cars and (b) stiffs the customer at the local level. It's almost tragic to watch a once-great American carmaker go down due to continued corporate and local incompetence and mismanagement.
