![]() I understood from Ford engineers, back in the day. That they changed to the 351W firing order to ease the load on the front main bearing.
If you want to change your 289,302 to the 351W firing order. All you have to change is the camshaft and then rearrange the spark plug wires in the dist. cap to the 351W firing order.
