Even though you MAY be able to, I would NEVER NEVER NEVER use a subframe connector to raise a car. Just too many things that "may" go wrong, suspension tweak, body panel indents, etc. etc.
Just my $.02 but I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor. Like you said, not a deal breaker, but it's just not a good idea in general.
