What gear and trans do you plan on running? You'll need at least a 4.56 for that kind of RPM. And a T-5 isnt going to last on slicks.
With the 205's, you MIGHT make more MAX HP, but it's going to be so sluggish at lower engine rpm that it isnt worth the trade off. Torque is what moves the car, not HP. Oh yeah, if you get 300+HP out of it and spray it with a 250 shot, can we see the pieces?  It will look something like this
