The harness will work, but the computer may or may not. Some of the 5.0 vics were non-HO. The mustang is HO. The way to tell if your engine is an HO engine is by the firing order (HO being 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, non-HO being 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8). You need a computer to match weather it is HO or non-HO. Best too buy a Harness out of another 90 model 5.0 too match the existing Brown or Brown and Grey pugs coming through the firewall on the drivers side bye the brake booster...I am no expert bye no means but have converted 3 myself in the past years...JMO
