I didn't want any heckling from the peanut gallery, so I figure I better get started. LOL

If the wife finds out I spent that kinda money the week before Christmas on THE CAR, me and Nadine are both gonna be living it that tiny ass garage of mine. Might be the wife's garage at that point! LMAO

Did you see my "mock up" engine pics? I actually had a small block sitting between the shock towers already, but that tranny is gonna be a whole new animal, and me thinks a nightmare. Already had to "rearrange" the tunnel to get that scatter shield in there.

Check out this link, for up to date progress:

http://www.knights-rule.com/cgi/gallery/v/members/bill/

BEFORE you complain, the bird catcher IS NOT going on, but I AM building a 6" cowl hood for her.

I put those seats in, TWEED baby! Doing the interior to match.

Fuel system is a "get it on the road" type, NOT my good one, and for damn sure not a permanent fixture in the car!!!

Also the steering wheel is going back to original, anyone lookin for a Grant REAL wood steering wheel?

And I'm also thinking of changing the rabbit's foot to black.

Nice ride,

Are you putting the 347 stroker in it?

How much does it weigh?

Yepper! Kept the 347/TKO from the Stang, it's all going in the Scarelane. Haven't weighed the car yet, but it's advertised curb weight is 2900!!!! 370# LESS than my Stang was!

Not many people racing those cars so you should be pretty unique at the track.

Sounds like it should be a solid 10 second car.

That's what we're hoping for. Stang went 11.06 N/A so with the weight loss..... ??? Who knows. We'll all find out come spring.

No cage yet, no subframe connectors, and an open diff with poopy gears in it. So I'm gonna throw a posi pig in the 9" for now, throw in subframes, and see how many tracks I can get kicked out of before we built a 10 point cage for it.
