![]() Im guessing what you have isnt a 289 and isnt the original engine. (at least the harmonic balancer isnt original) Looking through the online parts catalogs the early mustangs had 3 bolt crank pulleys, I then went out and looked at mine (in the rain no less!) which is a 79 motor which has 4 bolts. Apparently they switched at some point of time, not sure when though. Perhaps it was actually in 79, though im not sure if the 79 is a 28oz or 50oz balance...pretty bad when its my own engine. Anyway, order a new pulley or drill out the one you have. Good luck.
