Default Re: Rear End

I use an 8" 3.25 with an Auburn Pro limited slip. Without overdrive, I don't want to spin more than the 3300 at 70 mph. (my usual highway cruising speed). My set up is similar to yours with a C-4. I got my center section from Currie in Ca. but went to the Auburn Pro after failures of other limited slips. I did also have to replace the Auburn Pro after a few years of hard use. They will give you a new one for $150 if it's less than 4 years old. Of course there still is the hassle of having to remove and replace the failed unit. I think I'm pretty hard on the 8" with the way I drive and 350 or so hp.
