![]() Anti seize is used when two dissimilar metals are in contact with each other such as steel bolts into aluminum alloy or steel spark plugs into aluminum alloy heads. The anti seize prevents corrosion that usually occurs in that situation, locking the two metals together. The situations that you describe are steel on steel and therefore, no anti seize should be needed.
