![]() I have 16's and my fender lips are rolled a little bit too. I honestly wouldn't advised any larger wheels than the 16's. I have no clearance issues, except for when I go to turn in a driveway that is raised up a bit and with the wheels turned pretty hard. I also have rubbed a little at full turn in a parking lot once. Something to think about is my car is also lowered a good bit. Not sure exactly how much with all the crap on there, but it is at least an inch. My wheels are also custom made for the older Mustang, with the proper backspacing. I will post up a pic if you like.
I have read where 17's clear and obviously some run them run them here. However, I don't know how they do it without rubbing all the time....unless you are gonna leave the suspension the stock height, then you will probably be ok.
