With a 4k stall there is a little more noticable slip when taking off. the car starts moving pretty much like normal. with 3.73 gears I have driven mine to the track. It's about 35 miles. On the Interstate W/O overdrive it is kind of a drag ....60 MPH is about 3200 rpm. You need a healthy Trans cooler and a Trans temp gauge to keep an eye on things. I used 2 of the B&M 28000# coolers in series. Trans temp never gets above 160 even when I use the Trans Brake.

I had a couple of minor issues. The pan gasket was overtorqued. I also got the trans with a stock bell for a 164 tooth flywheel. The bolts that hold the bell to the trans shook loose after about 20 runs. Make sure that you loctite the bolts before you put it in the car. On my car going from an AOD w/ 3000 stall to the C-4 w/ 4000 stall netted me 5 tenths in the 1/4. Car went from a 13.30 to a 12.80.
