I am getting ready to start my second season of SCCA Solo2 racing. I am racing my 06 Mustang GT with 18" wheels.
Last season, I raced in F Stock Ladies on street tires. Some of my competition had Kumho tires and generally were always several seconds faster.
I have been getting conflicting information about tire size.
I have been looking at Kumho V710 tires. They come in 245 or 285. My street tires are 235.

Some racers are recommending 285s and my tire supplier is saying 245s.
What is everyone else out there using?
