![]() even though the primary has less resistance, I doubt it is enough to casue damage to the TFI because it was designed to work with the TFI. If it did cause damage, they would not be able to sell many - word would get out fast that they cause the TFI to burn up if that was the case. I think you can use it and not worry.

![]() I'd just installed a msd street fire TFI coil for my 5.0 mustang and so far, it works great! I kept the original one in handy, just in case, because it still functions.
