dont quote me on this delrrex, but your year i think has moly rings. they do have a little more blow-by with these rings, but im not sure your motor has these rings in it or not. i did a 350 mile trip and i used 1 qt. also. my car has NO LEAKS! so it could be normal. the guy you want to ask is PRKWUD, he is usually floatin around the blue oval lounge. he know alot about the ford blocks.
