Up until '93, Mustangs had forged pistons which are much more dense(stronger) than the hyperutectic pistons used in '93. I used to spray 125hp on a '93 and never had a problem. Just make sure you retard the timing the right amount, etc. I used a dry system 'cuz with Fuel Injection, the intake is designed to flow air, not fuel. With a carb, the intake flows both.
