Try this first...Unhook your tach underneath the hood where you have it plugged in, you do have an aftermarket tach right? Try running without it and see if problem persists. If it still does, you need to get a computer that has not been reflashed or tampered with, while ensuring it is specifically for your year and drivetrain. Let us know.
