Ok first off let me tell you this, 80k is not really high miles. The average person puts 12,000 miles per year. So if your car is 7 years old, that is 84,000 miles. Don't sweat the miles, and more than likely someone hasn't beat on the car to bad, I wouldn't worry about it. It's your car now. Same thing happend on my 89, but it was after the installation of gears, about 80-90 it would vibrate pretty bad. But it ended up being on of my tires was not balanced correctly. But if you have checked all your wheels/tires. Then I would lean towards your driveshaft, just get an aluminum one if that is the problem(which I think it is.) There like $159 from summit. Well good luck with your new car! And don't worry about the mileage at all, I've put 4,000 on my new one in about a month. So that would be 48,000 miles a year, and if my car was 7 years old like yours, and I did that every month it would have 336,000 miles on it. So that makes 80,000 seem like nothing. =P
