Maybe I'm not describing the noise right, I can hear the noise sitting in the drivers seat when the engine is idling. I was just so suprised to find out the coil made noise at all. Seemed very weird to me. I don't really care about the noise per-se but I had assumed the coil must have been defective, I don't want to return it to find out the noise is "normal" for a MSD TFI coil
