chevyguy. i have the exazt same problem as you. nothing to worry about though. had mine for a year and a half now and not one prob. the buzzing sounds like its coming from the dash, right? well if your car has a capacitor, put a bigger one in. i think 1/4 farat is what i used and the buzzing is gone. i just did this recently. so the coil is still performing well.
2 years PKRWUD? how so? the only reason i could come up with is high amount of vibrations. but a stock or near stock stang should last awhile.
