My '89 does the same exact thing! I was never worried about it. I just chalked it up to showing its age, but now that you mention it, it sure is a pain in the *** !
As for the exhaust leak, it IS an exhaust leak. The EGR is escaping out of the thermactor hole where the tube once connected. Plug the hole using a bolt and large washer. That should fix it. |
