![]() It looks to me like someone put a long block from an '87-up in your '85 and re-used the '85s intake and carb. That is a good thing. The blocks aren't very different, and I would assume the pistons are also the same for an '85 or '87. The only difference in dimensions of pistons is as Unit 5302 said about the '86 pistons being flat top. Even my '83 block had valve reliefs. Buy parts for the '87. You won't have any problems. Jake
