![]() The older blocks are tougher than almost anything made today. I believe it is the larger amount of nickel content in the metal they used pre-75. But remember the trade-off's. 1)They weigh more and 2) a roller cam/lifter kit is needed if you want a roller setup. and the kit is expensive!
