![]() Engine wear is caused by dirt particles larger than 5 microns. A fram will filter from 20 to 40 microns. A filter such as Amsoil will filter down to 10 microns. The smaller the dirt particle is the less wear your engine will have. We all take pride in are ponys, so a few more dollars for a better filter is worth it. Dont you think.
