They are a steep gear but I think you will be ok. The only thing that would be concerning is at the track, you might run out of motor on the top end. A buddy was running 4.10's in his 87 coupe and had that problem with 245/50 Nitto DR's. But with a taller tire that shouldn't be a problem. The 10's were a blast on the street though ...What size tire do you run?? If worse comes to worse you might have to step up a tire size to compensate for the steep gear.....73's would be the gear but it's not worth the cost to swap from 55's to 73's...I say go with the 4.10's... IMO
