![]() Sounds like you have the voltage but not the capacity to carry the current. put a load on it (the wipers or something that loads it down) then put your voltmeter lead on the neg battery terminal ...then with the other meter lead go down the line from the positive terminal ... terminal then cable clamp then the seleniod ... as you get away from the positive terminal somewhere along that line you're gonna find you've lost that 14.8 volts ..it will have droppped way down from that !! either a bad wire or a bad connection... your losing the ability to carry the current needed to operate things. Thats my two cents worth.
