Took me about half an hour to do my quadrant and firewall adjuster, and I didn't remove the front seat. I'm pretty small though, I also recommend removing the driver seat. I also didn't have to disconnect the cable at the bellhousing end, but that's cause my stock adjuster was busted (slack in the cable).
