I know my thunderbird turbo coupe seemed to have a different mounting position for the quad shocks than the mustang. Welding new brackets on would suck pretty good. I did have the T-5 manual in my Turbo Coupe though, and it was a '85. It also had positraction, with 10" drums. Way hard to find parts for.
