![]() Ellis: I see where your coming from, and yes, it sounds like a worthwhile project. I too understand the need for good gas mileage! You should get WAY more than 20mpg with a turbo 2.3... more like 25 or 26, as long as you control yourself while commuting.
I don't have any real tips because I've never been involved in such a project... Although I've heard that turbo 2.3's also hold up to N2O well (a little extra 40hp at the track wouldn't hurt your cause). Most Mustang owners opt for V8 performance, not turbo I4's, that's why there is so little info on this site. Try a web search for "2.3 Mustangs" or something.
