![]() I have Autometer gauges (vacuum, oil pressure, water temp and air/fuel) - all mechanical except for the air/fuel ratio.
For oil pressure all you do is remove the electronic sensor for the oil pressure and then screw on your oil pressure line with a brass fitting (and crush collar) that is supplied with the kit. The electronic sensor is located on the drivers side of the engine just below and to the left of the number #5 plug/header - it should screw off. Make sure that when you attach your sending lines that you don't screw down the brass fittings over the crush collars too hard or else it will cut the line (if using nylon or plastic type tubing). Good luck with the install and let me know if you have any more questions or if there is something that I didn't answer. E Forgot to add that they do light up - I have the phantom gauges (white face) and they look great at night, especially since my Stang is Oxford White. ------------------ 1991 5.0 LX Coupe -37,800 miles 13.17 @ 106.14 mph w/ 2.138 60' Pro-Charger D-1SC on the way!!!
