![]() My first suggestion would be to drop the AOD. I've heard that they are not too reliable in high stress situations like racing, and are quirky and difficult to maintain. I'm always open to persuasion differently though. Some basic info: since you are in california, you must maintain the emissions controls if you are planning to run on the street(duh!). Consequently, you will at least need to change the ECM and EPROM to one for a 5.7. I think the older ford full size trucks like the f250 + had 5.7's in them. I suggest doing some research with your local Ford Parts department or your favorite auto parts store. Also, I know hi-po shops make hi-po emissions components to maintain legal street status. Here on the east coast there's a chain called supershops that carries or can get info on racing and high performance emission stuff. Hope this spawns some ideas.
