I have a straight six with a one barrel carberator. My car has been smelling pretty bad but I just thought it was an old car. I am going to rebuild the carberator after the first of the year. One of my lifters is making noise and oil is coming out around one of the spark plugs. People have told me it is my rings but they said that if you don't know for sure what you are doing you shouldn't tackle it so I am waiting till I start rebuilding another engine.
