I've seen t5's in classic mustangs. How much harder is it to swap a t56 into one, particularly a t56 pulled from a z28?
thanks in advance |

I have seen these swapped into old camaros and they required lots of modification to the trans tunnel as they are big. Don't know about mustangs, but suspect the same.

DB Performance Engineering sells a kit (trans included) for the 6 speed swap. The owner of the company is Danny Bahn. He ias the yellow coupe that has been faeatured in Hot Rod, etc. It is injected, blown, and has a 6 speed. Oh, did I mention it runs 10.30's and gets 25 mpg. The number for DBPE is 626-571-7126. SOrry no web site. Good Luck, Chris
