This is crazy, but I have a 289 with a 4v. carb., 4:11 gears and a ridiculous cam that gives me around 8.5 mpg. Oh, well, the performance is worth it since it's not a daily driver. Differnt strokes for different folks. I would love to drop a 351 between the fenders but that will have to wait for a few more years.
