8" Rear, How strong?

I have a Currie built 8" in my '66 and it's worked well for several years. My 306 developes 300@5100 and 350@3750. This with a C-4. Auto trannys are easier on rear ends than standard trannies usually, if the stall is reasonable and with sreet tires. If the 5.0 is stock or mildly modded, you've got no worries if the 8"is in good shape.
