My 68 is a 289 bored .060, roller cam, roller rockers, ported heads with 1.94 valves. Hooker headers and 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent pipes all the way out and the factory dual tips are welded on the ends.
Flowmaster 3-chamber mufflers. The car is an AOD with 3.50, 9-inch rear. Car runs very good, sounds VERY GOOD. But, believe me there isn't any room for a larger dia. pipe. ------------------ Dave Pitt 68 FB, 289 Dual AFB's |
