last post was right boss 302 had steel crank, ford did not use much steel cranks and four bolt mains as the others they saw no reason and had no problems. if in fact it is a steel crank can be worth quite a bit min. $500 the 302 im buiding will turn 8,500 just fine. eagle rods sonny bryant crank ross pistons and lots of block work.....
