![]() I can't offer you much advice since I'm not a mechanic. However, I had same identical problem and tried everything for almost a year to include replacing virtually everything, i.e., alternator, battery, regulator, etc. I finally gave up and purchased a new wiring harness ($160 ouch) and it fixed everything. Expensive way to go but I couldn't isolate the short anywhere.
